Linda & Dick FORD have really out done themselves this year with several new and exciting activities. The holiday season will be upon us before you know it. This year it's NOT all about the lights.
We will be departing the Eisenhower Rec Center parking lot behind at 12:30 PM and will again be provided with "LIMITED ROCK STAR PARKING" in front of the Inn to show off our Vettes. The afternoon can be spent relaxing on the veranda of the Inn, pub crawling or shopping in quaint shops of Mt Dora.
This year we offer several choices to see the lights that require ABSOLUTELY WALKING if you choose. Not only are we again offering the highly recommended BOAT TRIP to see the gorgeous sunset on the lake but you'll be treated to a up-close-&-personal view of the Mt. Dora Marina light display. Another boating option is the "ECO" boat cruise offered for those unfamiliar with Florida, it's habitats and "critters". You'll see and have explained the canal system and wildlife living along the course including a BALD EAGLE nest. Don't be surprised if a gator or a turtle, sneaks up on you. This ride is limited to 43 people at a cost of $28.00/person.
BE AWARE - THOSE CHOOSING THIS ENTERTAINMENT OPTION MAY HAVE TO FORGO THE DINNER. YOU DO, HOWEVER HAVE THE OPTION OF A LUNCH/BRUNCH ON YOUR OWN WHILE SHOPPING AND RELAXING THE AFTERNOON AWAY. . .
Enjoy a 1/2 hour ride in a Horse Drawn Carriage along the Mt.Dora streets to view the Christmas display of lights. Limited to 4 people per departure time, 24 total people at a cost of $25.00/person
